  1. Ah youth! One of these days Lucas will discover that the guys that say “dude” and “bro” all the time, wear their hats sideways, and their shorts below their ass; are terrible conversationalists, are usually unemployed, and have questionable hygiene. Until then, he’s got a lot of boring dates in his future.

  2. It’s so refreshing how masc guys get attacked on this site for not wanting to fuck femmes.

I’m clutching my pearls at how original you all are.

  3. Well, they get made fun of because well-adjusted guys realize that guys who express a preference for “masculine” guys are usually self-loathing types who are afraid of being “too gay.”

  4. Kyle took the words out of my mouth.

I consider myself masculine, but I would never put that on a profile because its stupid. People who make such a huge point of wanting masculine guys are insecure in their own masculinity. They are afraid of appearing gay in any sense, and harbor issues about feeling like less of a man by being gay.

  5. The “dude/bro” types know each other and want guys like themselves. Not that big a deal. Hey, if you’re looking for a guy to smoke up with and go to the Dave Matthews concert, there just isn’t enough room to write that.

This one doesn’t bug me that much.

  6. Brandon and Kyle nailed it on the head. A truly masculine guy will not feel the need to write that in his profile. Guys who do have some sort of overcompensation issue. It’s like the guys with the small penises who buy expensive cars to impress the ladies and distract them from their incredibly small wang.

  7. Wrong. This guy isn’t a douche. Lots of guys have a fetish for other college or post-college guys who use the word “dude”. I, myself, even being 28 am very much a “Dude” and grew up using the word and definitely see the man I end up being with in an LTR as a ‘dude’. There’s nothing wrong with this post.

  8. This guy’s not a douche. He’s actually ahead of the game. He knows exactly who he wants and uses the phrases and buzz word that will bring them to him.

Not wanting to sleep with old, unattractive, overweight effeminates doesn’t make him a douche.
It makes him a self-respecting MAN.
