It’s society’s construction of stereotypes, since there is (was) a lack of positive images of Asian guys. People don’t see Asian guys enough to formulate an honest, candid opinion about their character. They (people) then go by taught said-stereotypes to formulate hasty verdicts as to whether they want Asian guys or not; and, with a presumed image that’s unflattering and puerile, obviously, they’re not going to want Asian guys each time.
