   This entire website struggles to amuse. What’s the big deal with stating a sexual preference in race? Or saying you prefer masc guys? If they do it with a bit of humour even better. And on an app like grindr where there are limited filters isn’t this just saving someone time who you wouldn’t be interested in anyway? Saying you’re attracted to men doesn’t make you sexist so why only being attracted to one race make you racist?

   Rant over.

   – because it is based on RACE to begin with. Its a colonial mentality that segregates people based upon pre conceived stereotypes. I understand sexual attraction toward men probably in the genetic area but ‘racial preference’ is a preference that builds upon social stigma and media brainwashing. Did you get out from the womb and know/decide that you’d be looking to be attracted to WHITE MEN only? Now, how about those Asians who are only into WHITE MEN. Don’t tell me it is in their genetic code?

   @Nath. You make it sound like race is just one of those things like height or weight. Unfortunately in our world it isn’t. People have gone to war over race, people were sent to concentration camps to be exterminated based on their race and relgion. Therefore it is a sensitive issue and not merely a “preference “

    I don’t think his preference for men has anything to do with being “racist.” Yes, he is stating that he is not attracted to black men or asian men, but I’m sure he has a whole list of guys he’s not particularly attracted to (including men over 30, age discrimination?). I ask whether those who question this kids racial politics have dated a guy in a wheelchair, or blind guy, or small person. Almost all of you will say “no”. Obviously, we could not say you MUST be a bigot or racist or elitist because those are obviously physical characteristics many of us do not find particularly attractive. Everybody has preferences, and just because someone states upfront that they are not attracted to blacks or asians doesn’t make that person a “racist,” at least how that word is understood in America. I feel like people use the word racist as a an immediate attacks on the person rather than the argument. Sounds like the dude who started this discussion has some serious race and rejection issues to resolve. After all, the dude who contacted this kid must have been rejected because of his race and had some score to settle. Really man, get over it.

    So what if its based on race? That doesn’t make him racist. You only call him that because you couple his preference for men and his obvious rejection of you (because you’re black) as evidence of racism. Yet you do not consider whether this guy is into other men or color and ethnicity. He could be into middle eastern men or latino men for all you know. But because he rejected you because you’re black guy, the only explanation for his outright rejection of you is racism. You have some serious internal hate to resolve. I bet you’re black and largely attracted to white guys, aren’t you? Is that why you’re pissed? You contacted this guy and you were rejected, right?
